What Raul Gutmann doesn't like about Earl & Angelos Restaurant:
For the dollar amount you spend The steaks are definitely not worth itProbably the most bland steak ever. They "think" they are a 5 star restaurant In Paris. Don't order Coke or any kindaSauce everyone from the Sue chef to Waitress will give you attitude. View all feedback.
Went with hubby for an anniversary celebration under new ownership and this time the service was far better than last time. Loved our made up surf and turf and was surprised by a delicious cheesecake compliments of the house.
My wife and I recently learned this restauraunt had undergone a shift in management so wanting to check it out, she made reservations for my birthday. We were not disappointed in the least! Yes, the prices are up there but I believe this keeps groups with picky children going elsewhere and allows for a nice romantic fine dining experience, something Belleville lacks tremendously. We both enjoyed our apps, mains and dessert. Service was excellent, our waiter looked after every detail and request. Our table location allowed us to interact with the chefs which elevated the whole experience! I like their menu and there are many available choices which has me wanting to make a return visit sooner rather than later.
We went for a spontaneous dinner and we were served by the lovely and very entertaining waitress, Kelly. We had the special meal from "Countylicious Event": We both had the "spicy" vegetarian soup and the salmon. Delicious. And yes, we had red wine, a 2015 Malbec Reserve from Argentina. Very tasty.
Nice atmosphere if you get the right table and it's not too busy.Excellent steak, not so great scallops. Wonderful service. At first we were seated right in the back by the kitchen which was completely unacceptable for a high end dinner as a couple with reservations.Noisy so fine if you had just drinks and a group. We were promptly moved to a lovely table and had a wonderful evening.
We celebrated my wife's birthday. Food was great and service was outstanding. It was crowded but didn't seem so. Prices are up there but worth it for that special occasion. We had a complimentary chocolate truffle cake with three forks which was a really nice touch. Will return to celebrate that special occasion.Prices about the same as the Keg and quality was too.Steve
