Bib's Meats - Belleville

“ Don’t expect to enjoy the service but dinner will be good. ” should be their new slogan.I buy my families Meat orders from them, typically spending $2-400 per order. BUT they have legitimately the worse customer service I have ever experienced at a butcher shop. They have zero flow in the physical store to help people form lines or know where to go and I would estimate about 50-75% of the employees avoid human interaction at all costs. I will note a few people there shine bright but I feel like that’s easy to do in such a dark room.We placed a new order Wednesday, upon placing it the lady informed me they had fulfilled 15 orders that day and I was 15th in line currently. I called back Friday afternoon to inquire about availability for pick up when the staff told me “we haven’t gotten around to it yet”.I would absolutely love to speak to the owners who I’m sure have zero idea customers are being told they don’t matter and they be gotten to when their staff feels like it.Unfortunately they are the best overall price in town (I made a spreadsheet to confirm because I really wanted to pull my business from them).

The employees are very helpful and friendly. Would not buy my meat anywhere else. Always good quality.

I just went into Bibs to top up my meat for the summer! I waited while server's were busy behind the counter and although several looked right at me, no one asked what I wanted. Several people came in after me, while I was waiting and they all got served while I was ignored. So, I left and went elsewhere. Awful experienceMax

Lots of fresh meats to choose. There are frozen and also fresh meats. Many times the fresh meats are marinated, stuffed, etc. Staff are friendly and patient with customers who have a hard time deciding.

Expensive, staff not always attentive. Mostly decent quality.
