D's Soul Food Cafe

The food here is AWESOME! And the people are very nice and friendly. And the location is right in the middle of plaquemine's busiest part of town on Railroad Ave. along with dozens of other local businesses on both sides of the tracks. The inside of the building looks like it's been remodeled, looks very clean and has a few beautiful antique pieces for show. I was very impressed! Parking: The amount of free street parking spots is extremely limited.

This cafe is so much more than just a cafe with soul, it has love and heart with flavorful food that will make your belly smile. The owner is a real professional. From the cleanliness of this establishment top to bottom and meal presentations I will recommend this cafe to anyone who appreciates and knows how food is supposed to taste. Thanks ms D.

Food was ok. D wanted to discuss my whole family tree and how I 'm too light-skinned to be a Jenkins was aggravating. Very inappropriate.

Liver and gravy very good. Smothered okra and shrimp very good. She only cooks a few things per day and you eat that. She sells out fast. I willGo back another day. Prices reasonable.
