The food was just okay for me. My pad Thai was a bit on the dry side, but their pizza was quite good. The interior of the restaurant is really beautiful.
Fabulous!! From the moment you're greeted and seated you just know you're in for a special dining experience. As a designer I can truly appreciate the meticulous attention to details throughout this restaurant. Beautifully designed and executed creatinga truly unique vibe. We definitely didn't feel like we were dining in Houston. Our waiter was so delightful. Very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our food was scrumptious!! The perfect way to describe the flavors of all our dishes would besubtle complexity. It was a delicious fusion of complex flavors served in the most subtle way. We thoroughly enjoyed our mealand look forward to returning to try other menu items.
To start, I ordered the curry crab firecrackers ($11.95), which were surprisingly large, resembling long cigarillos. They were tasty and crispy, complemented well by the accompanying sauce, but I felt they were a bit overpriced. For my main course, I chose the seafood clay pot ($19.95), which turned out to be more of a noodle bowl. It wasn’t the traditional clay pot I expected, as it lacked a generous amount of sauce or tofu. The seafood was perfectly cooked, and the bok choy and red peppers were blanched just right with a subtle sheen of oil. Unfortunately, the noodles were a major disappointment and the primary reason for my mixed review. They looked fine and were dressed in a sweet black pepper sauce, but they turned out gummy and mushy. This likely resulted from the water not being heated properly during cooking, which made the noodles sticky. To compensate for this, they must have been left in the water longer to cook the other ingredients, resulting in them becoming overly soft. For dessert, I enjoyed a slice of blueberry cheesecake ($7.50), which was delightful, with a topping that was pleasantly sweet rather than overly tart. My friend tried the roasted five-spice duck entree ($24.50) and the black and white chocolate mousse ($7.95). I sampled the duck breast, which was quite good, with seasoning reminiscent of Chinese preserved pork belly. Overall, I do like this restaurant, but the issues with the noodles detracted from the experience.
I was on the hunt for something tasty and keto-friendly, or at least healthy, and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The staff were very friendly, and the food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered an organic salad with salmon and enjoyed a chamomile tea. I highly recommend this place!
The food is quite good overall. My pad Thai was a bit on the dry side, but your pizza was really tasty. The interior of the restaurant is lovely.
