You can be on the water and there a different more expensive menu is served or be on street level. Still nice place to watch the crowds Service is slow. They forgot about our pizza till we reminded them. But they are nice and polite and tool our phones to charge them. The pizza, again considering the touristy location, is actually VERY good. Drinks are fine and the price is right. It is not fine dining but I will go again if I am there.

But and there is... read more It’s a difficult one to review. On one hand the scenery is spectacular and 2/6 of our party had a lovely meal, thankfully I was one of the two. But and there is a huge but, the experience was that of a candid camera show where any minute we fully expected a film crew and an Italian presenter, hair slicked back with brilliantly white teeth to put us out of our misery, alas this was not to be. From ordering the wine and being told to order another to the drinks not turning up and two meals not arriving at all only to be told that the chef has gone home but ordering ‘one by one’ had caused confusion. My particular highlight was the use of English swear words to punctuate sentences, sprinkling the F word like pepper on the non existent pasta dishes. It was not only us but a further 2 tables who were treated to the flamboyant outbursts. We left bemused, confused, grateful for our freedom and sadly for some of our party…hungry. The waiter who took our payment confirmed this was a nightly occurrence, not for the faint hearted!

Visited this place a couple of times and both times service was delivered by miserable waiting staff who ignored our many attempts to order a second drink, on t... read more Visited this place a couple of times and both times service was delivered by miserable waiting staff who ignored our many attempts to order a second drink, on the second visit we ate in the restaurant over the water, food was cold and uncooked we had to send the fish we ordered back as it was raw and cold and though it was returned re cooked it took a long time and there was no apology from waiting staff or reflection on the bill etc. Nice position but that’s it. Go elsewhere.
