Maxie’s Lounge - Belize City

This is a fantastic place to unwind. The food is incredible, and the atmosphere is soothing and refreshing. I often come here to take pictures of beer with friends.

My sister and I went for Taco Tuesday, and it was fantastic! The tortillas are homemade and incredibly soft—unlike anything I've ever had before. We ordered the arrachera, along with some delicious sides to complete our tacos. They paired perfectly! We also shared a dessert that was more than enough for both of us. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, making for a great overall experience.

The food and drinks were outstanding! I really enjoyed the atmosphere.

Nice eating, more cozy place and they get a free chocolate cake in their birthday.

Maxie's Restaurant and Lounge is probably the only restaurant in Belize that has given me excellent service each time I've visited them. Their spotless dining area and ambiance encourages you to relax and leave the experience to the professionals. Ms. Angelica has waited on us each time and I must say she is very attentive and pleasant, and quick to help us navigate their menu which is very diverse but not overwhelming. And if you haven't been there, their Curry Chicken is to die for! All in all, if you're looking for great dining experience and good Belizean picks, I would definitely recommend Maxies Restaurant and Lounge .
