What User doesn't like about Martha's Cafe At Om Shanti Belize:
we felt that they would pay more for the purpose of eating. we had the chili and the panini (veggie) but we had not felt they used fresh vegetables. the chili looked like bud juice with many bores and mais. They dressed it with two pieces of advocado, but they had a strange taste. will not recommend this place View all feedback.
We were really surprised by this cafe, since it’s more geared towards tourists we expected the prices to be steep and the portions and food to be mediocre but man we were wrong! The vegan vs vegetarian options are clearly labeled and the staff is knowledgeable on all their menu items to meet your needs. The portions were so surprising as we ordered the no tuna sandwich and they actually brought out TWO sandwiches a piece! We also tried their lentil soup and a garden side salad with their house vinaigrette and OMG! The vinaigrette was one of the best I’ve ever tasted and the ingredients in all the dishes were so so fresh. Granted, it could’ve used a little salt and pepper in the no tuna mixture and the soup, but other than that we had zero complaints! We also tried one of their baked goods to go and it was to die for! Good vibes, good food, right on the water. You will pay for the experience and good fresh vegan food, but in my opinion it was worth it.
The food and vegan options. The people. The place. Everything!
Friendly service and good food, saved me as I could not find many options in BC. Recommend if in Belize
We had the feeling you pay more for the view then for the food. We had the chili and the Panini (veggie) but we didn't had the feeling they used fresh vegetables. The chili looked like beanjuice with a lot of beans and corn. They topped it with two pieces of advocado but they had a strange taste. Would not recommend this place
Just steps from the cruise terminal! Had a smashed chickpea sandwich and my partner had a smoothie. Brief menu but tasty food. More indoor seating would have been a plus. Peaceful and inviting. I would go back.
