The restaurant is set in a beautiful bushland environment, creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff is relaxed and efficient, adding to the pleasant experience. The interior and exterior offer a charming multi-space layout that is perfect for celebrations like birthdays, gatherings, or even weddings. To top it all off, there’s live music several days and nights each week, which is the cherry on top! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Micawber Tavern:
being native, it has been here since eating because of the quality of the food. decided to try it again and nothing has changed. parma was average and the broken fish almost unusable. batter was 3 times as much as the amount of fish and completely boiled. mentioned this to the personal and no feedback. To the floor manager you are awful, you're staff are scared of thier own shadow and look miserable. I was having a nice chat with the bartender you interrupted to tell her to go whipe tables... Hospitality means being hospitable. The venue itself is one of the loveliest spot for a cold one, the garden area is gorgeous but turn down the tinny speaker blasting the depressing music. (Seriously the most depressing song one after the other) The place honestly gives off a gloomy cursed vibe and not to mention the prices on food are ridiculous
Unbelievable food, staff and atmosphereA real experience if you want it all. Unbelievable environment at the foot of Sherbrooke forest.
Not a real pub. After visiting a few times as a local, I have to share my thoughts. Upon entering, I was questioned about why I was there and if I had a reservation. Isn’t this supposed to be a pub? I’m starting to think it’s more of a restaurant. We were seated, but so were all the other diners. As for the food, $48 for a porterhouse? And the parma was the size of my palm—just the usual fare. What really frustrated me was that after having three pints, the abrupt German waitress refused to serve me anymore for no apparent reason. It seemed like the staff just wanted to close up early. This is a great way to ruin what could be a fantastic place.

Delicious food! It was fantastic to finally enjoy a Parma after so many years. The portions were very generous as well.
