Sissys Place - Belford

I absolutely adore Sissy's place. For starters, they serve a wonderfully flavorful cup of hot coffee, which I find to be quite rare! There's always a fresh pot available. I usually order the blueberry pancakes, made with fresh berries, or the Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise sauce is homemade, and the Canadian bacon and poached eggs are spot on. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is bright and cheerful. Honestly, I don't think Sissy's needs a review; it's been a staple for quite some time.

This is a wonderful spot to grab a quick breakfast before work in the early morning. It has a cozy "Cheers" vibe, where many patrons are familiar with each other.

The dining area is cozy and inviting, and the food is delicious. Just remember to bring cash, as they do not accept credit cards, and you'll incur fees if you use the on-site ATM.

Lovely atmosphere, comfortable surroundings, cheerful helpful lovely waitress, Nancy. The food is fresh. I ordered the simple but tasty BLT on toasted whole-wheat with coleslaw side of chips with a fresh pickle!Even the water is tasty, served in an ice cold iced mason jar!All good! Come on down.I recommend Sissy’s!!

I've been coming to this place since I moved to Belford (six years ago). The food has always been fantasic. Since then, my wife and I started having children.Today my daughter graduated kindergarten. We made the mistake of getting breakfast here after her ceremony.My mother had gotten there first and went to use the bathroom before we sat down. The waitress couldn't have been more rude and obnoxious; speaking down to my mother.The same waitress felt it necessary to be outright rude and disrespectful to my children. When the waitress was blatantly aggressive and nasty to my 5 year old (who just graduated) when, excited to order, stood in her chair I drew the line.We won't be back. I won't be back. I always try and support local businesses, but I refuse to allow my mother and children to be treated like trash.Side note: the food is amazing, I'll miss it.
