Diep Takeaway Dundrum - Belfield

I got the tastless, watery chicken and cashew nut and my husband got the tastless, dry chicken massamman. Prawn crackers were nice at least.

I was pleasantly surprised with this chain restaurant's food. We ordered for seven people: satay gai, sticky fingers pork ribs, tom kha gai, chicken massaman curry, popia tod, Singapore noodles, cashew chicken, chiang rai, and a few other dishes. Portions were big, everything was delivered hot, and everyone enjoyed their dishes, with the exception of the ribs, which we weren't crazy about. From ordering til delivery was about an hour. Would definitely order again.

Really, this is review on their delivery service rather than their food, which we quite like, even though you can’t order the specials on the Diep website.So, we’re only about 500m from the restaurant. On our last order, with the tracking of the delivery that is sent out, the driver managed to go all, from dundrum to nutgrove, belarmine, sandyford village to eventually back to us in dundrum. Overall, a round trip that took 1 hour and 15 minutes. In actuality, the delivery tracking app timed out after an hour. When we asked the driver, his excuse was that it took so long as he has a clapped out car, guess he’s not aware of the tracking app. Food cold by the time it arrived.Listen, I don’t mind delivery taking time, but maybe better planning of the route from closest location to most distant rather than at the end of the round trip.
