Traci's Diner - Belfast
Traci's Diner
Description
In a local dining gem, visitors experience a spectrum of satisfaction, with highlights and lowlights alike. The Haddock Chowder and BLT receive rave reviews for their exceptional taste, and many patrons praise the attentive service, particularly during busy times. However, some diners report disappointments, citing overly greasy food, unexpected charges on the bill, and concerns about gluten cross-contamination. While the restaurant showcases generous portions and reasonable prices that many appreciate, consistent quality, both in food and service, appears to be a mixed bag. Overall, diners are encouraged to weigh their options carefully before visiting.

As a local resident, I've been here multiple times, and each experience has left me dissatisfied. The food tends to be overly greasy, and the service is consistently poor. I suggest you heed my advice and consider dining elsewhere.
I left this restaurant feeling let down by my waitress. My wife and I ordered breakfast and requested eggbeaters as a substitute. That was fine until we got the bill, which included a $1.15 surcharge for each egg. We were never informed about this charge. It's mentioned at the very end of the menu, not in the breakfast section, but had I known, I wouldn't have ordered it. This isn't a good way to conduct business, as the bill ended up being over $6 more than I anticipated. I'm very dissatisfied.
While the service and food were decent, my wife became ill after dining here. She has Celiac disease and only had scrambled eggs and a potato sausage dish. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone with gluten intolerance.
The best blueberry pancakes I've had, so far. Will be a regular stop when I'm in the Belfast area.
