In a bustling culinary scene, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of dining experiences. Diners appreciate the comfortable ambiance and diverse menu, highlighting both westernized and authentic Chinese cuisine. Many recommend the set menu for value and quality, particularly praising signature dishes like duck and monkfish. However, criticisms about poorly prepared food and inconvenient cash-only transactions cast shadows on its reputation. Great Chinese restaurant with both westernised Chinese dishes and some more authentic offerings which is nice to see. Nice and comfortable interior with a decent amount of tables. The staff were very fast, efficient, and courteous. Overall a very nice restaurant and I would recommend visiting here. View all feedback.
What DonL577 dislikes about Macau:
Macau is now something of an institution on the Belfast restaurant scene, set in the trendiest part of town. Normally a vibrant, bring your own, restaurant that serves takeaway, the Coronavirus has limited it to takeaway only for the time being. Nevertheless, the food is... View all feedback.
I went to this restaurant with a group of friends on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday party. We opted for a set meal that offered a wide selection of dishes for the whole group to enjoy. The food was absolutely delicious and one of the best Chinese meals I've had in a while. It was also great value, especially since we could bring our own alcohol. The staff were friendly and provided good service throughout the evening.
I recently dined at this restaurant with a group of 8 people. We opted for the fixed menu and were extremely impressed with the amount and quality of the food. No one in our group left feeling hungry. The duck, monkfish and char siu hotpot, and the salt and chilli aubergines were all exceptionally delicious. In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Belfast.
We had an incredible dinner tonight at this fantastic restaurant. The meal was absolutely delicious, and it's a great sign when one of Belfast's top chefs is dining there as well. The staff provided a warm welcome and excellent service, always willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Suling Ho is an excellent host, making this Chinese restaurant the best in Belfast.
