It's located in the castle itself.Soup and food was decent. It took a while to get a table first and food later. If you are away from main seating area , it's gets difficult to get any attention. It could be a different experience to have a meal in such place but didn't real see anything special as such about the food being served!
We went to the Cellar Restaurant at Belfast Castle for an evening meal during our trip to Belfast. The staff were attentive, pleasant and friendly. There were six of us and every one of our meals was excellent. The castle and grounds where stunning and it was a really outstanding evening for everyone.
Had afternoon tea here using a voucher. Everything was delicious. Great selection of sandwiches, scones and cake. Coffee, lemonade and prosecco all good. Nice to have a walk round the garden afterwards too.
Went for afternoon tea using voucher. Booking process was easy and when we got there everything was great. Afternoon tea of lemonade, sandwiches, scones and buns was lovely very fresh and good quantity. Had tea/coffee in pots and this was refilled which was great. Service was excellent with lots of attention from very pleasant, friendly staff. A lovely afternoon in a wonderful setting.
Was in Cellar Restaurant last week with a friend for afternoon tea. We had homemade lemonade first which was really nice. Followed by finger sandwiches, scones and cakes. The scones with jam and cream were the best. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Tea was too strong for us and some china would have made it all so much better.
