I absolutely love the cauliflower wings, although the sauce isn’t vegan. Their vegan Sunday roasts are fantastic too. It's such a rarity to find a place that offers this option for a Sunday afternoon!
Update: I've adjusted my review to 4 stars. I recently visited Ben Madigan’s again, and this time the service was much quicker, and our food arrived promptly. It was delicious! Updated from my previous review on May 22, 2022.
The staff were very friendly, and I was pleased to find a variety of good vegetarian and vegan options. The food was excellent, and the ambiance is lovely—a great addition to the area. This update reflects my previous rating as of March 16, 2023.
I really enjoy the flower wings (though the sauce isn’t vegan) as well as their vegan Sunday roasts. It’s wonderful to have a nearby option for Sunday dinner! Updated from my previous review on October 3, 2022.
Here are my thoughts on the restaurant. We started with the cauliflower dish, which was quite enjoyable. For the main course, I had the nutmeg and cauliflower steak, which was delicious. For dessert, we tried the cheesecake and the chocolate skirt; both were delightful, especially the cheesecake. The nut roast was also very good.
