B & L Lda - Beja

After another meat meal in the previous night and the obvious lack of fish restaurants in beja, it was good that there was a vegetarian option in beja on a cold December day. the additional advantage was opened from 1730, as we were skipped after a huge breakfast in the pousada. it was also near the pousada. there was a great selection of vegetarians, and the price was based on the weight of their choice. it would have been good if there was a little more explanation about some of the choice and both of us thought that some of the foods would have been better if it were warmed up. the highlights for us were the red cabbage salad and the spinach. the food was also at 13.20 euro for 2. the place did not serve alcohol, so we also have money on the usual bottle wein, which we have with our meal. we thought that the staff had been a bit more friendly and outrageous. it was almost as if they didn't like their job. I would give it 3.6 to 3.7.

We stopped here on our journey to the algarve of évora. Eating is buffet style where they pay according to weight of their teller. Although not everything is vegan, we had so many ways to decide. we loved it. I wish I knew how I could get the Lens Court and the Beasts. everything was delicious

Beautiful, small vegetarian self-service restaurant with several tasty options that appeal to (almost) all. it has the opportunity to eat in the house or take it away. also has to take a new section of cookies and cake.

Alentejo is not exactly the best place in portugal for vegetarian, so this hotel in beja is a rare! many choice, after the weight paid, the food was very good and they also have fresh juices and desserts. friendly, helpful staff. good value.

Happened upon 'Sabores do Campo ' near the bus station. Six months later, it was a factor in deciding to visit Beja again. If I have a criticism of vegetarian restaurants, it 's that they tend to be a bit too 'worthy ', featuring a lot of soya...and textured vegetable protein. Portugal produces so many different vegetables, but it 's rare to find any in standard restaurants, other than salad. This place had a great variety, however, and included cheesy bakes. We lunched there on two consecutive days and found varied 'specials '. The self-service buffet also offers desserts and juices, but was it far too 'healthy ' for wine? Clientele appeared to be local young people on their lunch breaks. Fill up your plate and pay by weight. I kept a receipt that shows two mixed plates (around 8 euros each), bottled water and a glorious pudding, totalling 20 euros for two. I 'm definitely going back to Beja, a charming town, with a great veggie cafe.
