Apple Pie - Beiseker
Apple Pie
Description
Located in the small town of Beiseker, this quirky restaurant housed in a former gas station offers a mixed bag of reviews. While some diners praised the delicious homemade food and charming atmosphere filled with antiques, others were disappointed by slow service and subpar dishes. The menu boasts breakfast all day, but lack of bacon and issues with food quality left some patrons unimpressed. Despite mixed reviews, the friendly staff and unique setting earn this spot points for charm. If passing through Beiseker, this cafe may be worth a visit for a taste of homemade dishes and old-fashioned ambiance.
Feedback
We traveled from the suburbs and to make the trip worthwhile, we purchased several pies (Aussie pie, lamb pie, chicken pot pie, salted caramel apple pie, pecan pie) from the restaurant.
Great spot with delicious pies of all varieties. Perfect for a quick, affordable, and high-quality meal when you're short on time.
A friend and I drove to Beiseker for lunch on Sunday to try the food at this wonderful little cafe. I had bacon and eggs and she had a veggie omelette. Both meals were delicious and the toasted homemade bread was incredible with the homemade strawberry jam. Will definitely go back.
We were travelling from Banff to Drumheller and needed a break. Arriving in the tiny village of Beiseker, we found this lovely little café in what is an old gas station. The café is filled with antiques etc and the whole place is rather quirky but the proprietress was welcoming and friendly so we really enjoyed our visit. The coffee was pretty good too.
