Seta Sydney - BEGA
Seta Sydney
Description
Seta, once a celebrated dining destination, has sadly closed its doors following a series of unfortunate events. Patrons were divided on their experiences, with some praising the stunning marble interiors and exceptional service, highlighting standout dishes like handmade ravioli and slow-cooked lamb shoulder. However, others reported poor food quality, hygiene issues, and disappointing service, leading to a frustrating cancellation process for bookings and lost deposits. While it was once lauded for its elegant ambiance and contemporary Italian menu, recent reviews suggest a decline that ultimately culminated in its closure, leaving many fond memories and bittersweet farewells in its wake.

Very beautiful dining experience. The decor and atmosphere is elegant. The food isn't anything special. There was human hairs in my dessert and my partner's dessert. They didn't do anything about it except offer us some cheap moscato. Its very very expensive but only because it looks fancy and its in darling harbour. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
We had such an amazing dinner here! From the moment you walk in, there is a vibe like no other! The interiors are really spectacular. Marble everywhere and open style kitchen is so beautiful and luxe. The food was divine. The stand outs were definitely the pasta (ravioli) and the slow cooked lamb shoulder. The service was exceptional. Would highly recommend this venue for a function too, beautiful intimate room right beside the kitchen that would host 16-18 people comfortably!
I visited this restaurant in 2021 and 2022. The interior is stunning, and the menu offers a fantastic selection of food and wine. In my opinion, it's the most beautiful restaurant interior in all of Sydney. I'm saddened to see that this lovely place seems to be closed now. Service: Dine-in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: A$80–100
Looks like Seta is gone now. Saw the locksmiths there on Monday morning and there is now a sign on the window that it is the hands of the landlord. Had a couple of great meals at Seta. The last one a few weeks ago was a disaster. New chef, poor kitchen hygiene, overcooked poultry, and a significant loss of flavour. I guess it was the final push.
