I had heard great things about Curry Bee, so I finally decided to give it a try. While I can’t compare it to authentic Indian cuisine since I’ve never been to India, I do enjoy a good curry. When I arrived, I found ordering a bit confusing—the menu and the staff's responses didn’t quite add up. For example, there’s a dinner option with rice on the menu, but trying to order it was challenging. After a few attempts, I finally placed my order, only to be told to come back in 30-40 minutes. I used that time to do some grocery shopping and pick up drinks, going back and forth quite a bit. When I picked up my order, I wasn’t sure if it was really good or if I wouldn’t come back again. Well, here I am, about to place my third order! The food is incredibly fresh—you can really taste the freshly ground cardamom and spices. Truly amazing!
Stopped by for lunch while in Bega and found a great selection of specials alongside the full menu. I chose the Thali, which included three curries, rice, raita, chutney, roti, and a pappadum. Since I prefer milder flavors, I picked lamb korma, butter chicken, and paneer masala. Absolutely delicious! Each dish had its own unique and complex blend of spices without being too spicy. I really enjoyed my meal. Additionally, there was a note on the menu board stating that all curries are gluten-free, with vegetarian and dairy-free options also available.
