beautiful, tasty eating that combines local, seasonal fabulousness with elegant Japanese style. degustation was wonderful (music games were met more than miss) and the vegetar was especially well looked after. View all feedback.

we have dined at the weekend in the Provenance. the atmosphere was cozy and beautifully made and the waiting staff is knowledgeable, although a little chic. I ordered the sushi (blue fin,) my partner the sardines. Provenance is my favourite thing about Beechworth. Such a great combination of local ingredients and traditional preparation. Immense skill on every plate. I never quite know what will turn up on the table, and that's the real charm for me. The chef does the hard work and I do enjoy being able to sit back and enjoy the overall experience, while admiring the creativity on every plate.

Pretty nice eating and service, but we went here in juni it was cold. in the restaurant unhappy cold! I didn't bring it to the attention of the staff. I really like to go to fine eating and do it often but I feel that the experience here was unpleasant the manager was good it was cold and unpleasant I wouldn't go back. there is a lot more comfortable place to visit.
