We visited a Sunday with my older mother. They sat at the table, comfortable to the disabled toilet. All easily accessible with slopes. The cook has adapted our order to meet my mother's requirements. All food and drink was delicious as with other visits. The staff was incredibly helpful. A rock-proof reliable pub for food and drink for groups of all sizes. View all feedback.

Absolutely wonderful little pub, reminds me of home from the country. Maybe a little pricy, but it's worth for the fresh food and full plates, you don't know anywhere else to give you your money in food. The staff is really friendly and helpful, it seems a nice selection of dogs to pet also whatever is a bonus! A real pub and a little jewel in such a wonderful village!
Came an evening over the pub, picturesquely old-fashioned irradiated with a lot of character. Was very busy, but the friendly staff sorted a table. The Steak and Ale Pie without a doubt was the best steak Pie we had in a decade. Very delicate meat. If it was only 90 minutes drive away
Nice place. Over 600 years old. Friendly bar staff. Nice attitude.
Visited for Sunday lunch (26 June I think) with my parents, brothers and niece. The pub has a lovely atmosphere, the service was fantastic (we had a lovely waitress who had just returned from holiday, apologies I forgot her name) and the food was tasty. Could have just had a splash more gravy on the roasts . It was our 2nd visit within a few months, and we will come back when I visit the area.
