Description

Pluckemin Inn balances refined, seasonal fine dining with a spectacular wine cellar and warm, intimate rooms perfect for dates or private events. Standout dishes and a knowledgeable sommelier earn high praise, though the tavern/bar area can be noisy and service inconsistent on busy nights. Prices skew upscale, desserts and cocktails are uneven, and at least one patron reported a food-safety issue. Overall it's a romantic, wood-accented destination for special occasions and business dinners—best for wine lovers seeking an elevated, occasionally imperfect experience.

This was my absolute favorite restaurant pre-corona! I miss the ambiance of the place. Their food is absolutely exquisite.

It's perfect date night place or for celebrating a special occasion. A very intimate setting with good service . There is no loud background music where you have to scream to have a conversation. The wine collection is very extensive and the cocktails ok.

I was surprised to get ShopRite thin sliced deli meat on my $15. turkey sandwich, really? My white wine was served warm. Unfriendly service.

Pluckemin Inn is a very nice restaurant that has an extra cozy vibe in the winter time. I came here in early December and the place just felt very comfortable and inviting. There are two sections. One consisting of a bar area, and the other consisting of a really nice restaurant with multiple levels. I dined in the bar area with friends. Drinkwise, I had a few rum old fashioneds, which were just ok. As for food, I had their burger, which was fairly average. Portion wise the dish was fine, but the burger didn't really stand out in my opinion. Given how much I love the vibe and set up of the place, I expected the food/drinks to be a little better. The server was also fairly rude as he appeared to be upset that we were taking longer than he'd like to order. Walked away a few times rolling his eyes and glaring at us... One thing to note, this place has an EPIC wine cellar. I walked downstairs and looked through the floor to ceiling glass at the endless supply of amazing wines they have. If you're a wino, this is 100% the place for you.
