my first visit to the café today. I really enjoyed it. the tee for one was excellent. I loved the teepot. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the food was good. I loved the design of the place. the only thing I would say is that the prices were a bit high, but it doesn't matter, I'm coming back in a definitiw. So please we have a caffe at our door. I am really disappointed, came in for a quick stop off to order a takeaway baguette for lunch. Was told when I ordered and paid £6 for a ham, cheese and salad baguette that there was “a little wait on food” which I said was fine and expected a 10/15 minute wait maximum as the shop wasn’t even at full capacity. I went to this restaurant for breakfast and coffee. I ordered the full English breakfast which was very tasty and satisfying. I will definitely come back again. The ambience is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly.
I had a lovely experience at this restaurant when I came in for a coffee and a slice of cake. The assistant, Megan, was a delight and the owner was also very friendly, asking about my day and if I needed anything else. I would highly recommend this place.
We enjoyed our first visit to The Eatery. The food was tasty and the produce of good quality. The service was a little slow and we had finished our drinks before the food arrived. Also, the chips were brought to us in advance of the main order which was not ideal. However, the staff were polite and the atmosphere good.
Lovely little place. Very welcoming with a good selection for brekkie. Slightly more expensive than other places but lovely quality food, so worth it. Only thing is that it was freezing in there and had to sit with my coat on! The fire door at the back was propped open so it was soo cold! But otherwise a lovely visit
I love coming here the girls are welcoming and I love their coffees! Always feel welcome even on a busy day.
