We were visiting from out of town and looking for a nice dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food at Char's. Theresa, our waitress, was exceptional. When we come back to this area, we will definitely be dining at Char's again.
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent! The service was very quick, almost too quick, but I still give them 5 stars. The ambiance was lovely with views of the fountain, pond, and geese.

We were looking forward to a nice dinner and my filet was a disappointment. Asking for it to be cooked medium, it came out more than done, not any pink whatsoever. The replacement was only slightly better. My husband enjoyed his salmon and the vegetableswere nicely seasoned. The cherry bread pudding was also lackluster. The waitress did all she could to make it better bydiscounting the meal and not charging for the dessert. The atmosphere is pleasant, my only suggestion is to not order a steak.
