On Friday morning, we stopped by for breakfast before heading out for a weekend with friends. The breakfast was of excellent quality and the café itself was lovely. Used for a coffee and speck sandwich with my brother, excellent eating and service, also loved the farm shop.
A great extension to what was a really good establishment. Great food at a realistic price. I would recommend it to anyone.
As per usual an excellent meal but just couldn't manage dessert. So after purchases in the farm shop double ice cream for George (definitely a Hollands) and piece of scrummy cheesecake for grandma and Teresa to enjoy at home. All in all a good time.
First visit for me but my friend has been here before, he had a cheese plougmans and i have honestly never seen such a big ploughmans in all my life he said it was fantastic, i had a slice of victoria sponge and again very nice, went to the the lovely gift shop and farm shop where we purchased a few bits and pieces which some we've yet to try, cant wait to try the mango and passionfruit curd we brought, well worth a vist, cant wait to go back
Called in today for lunch for my dad who was celebrating his 91st birthday..beautiful food as always but portion sizes far too much us all..can you smaller portions for pensioners?? x
