Terrible dinner. A few options to choose from: lamb, chicken, fish, and something else. We tried lamb and chicken with a salad, a white wine and a red wine. All was served within a few minutes. The leg of a lamb on a plate, floating in grease and with a few drowned potatoes. The salad consists of tomato, lettuce and onion and oil. The wine was ok. Not our taste. Total costs 55 euro.
If you want real Spanish cooking at its best you simply must eat here. The rabo de toro is sublime. The slow cooked shoulder of lamb is wonderful so, so tender and tasty. The house wine is perfectly acceptable and the prices are sensible. We enjoyed the slightly ramshackle atmosphere and the warmth of the welcome when we arrived one bitterly cold winter's night. We made a point of eating here again when we returned to the area a few weeks later. We were not disappointed. Thank you so much.
Stopped off here for a meal while cycling the Canal de Castilla. Restaurante and Bar are used regularly by friendly and chatty locals. Food was excellent and portions too much for me.Great service from the lady of the house, very reasonably priced no unnecessary sophistication. Good rural atmosphere, best in town according to local advice.
