I went to sway last night to lunch with my two dancing and oncock, as always it was nice, we came shortly before the opening, but was quite happy to wait outside, but the dame opened up early for us, as my aunt has mobility problems and got us refreshments. very appreciated. the meal was excellent, hot, absolutely last and really delicious. What User doesn't like about The Swan:
Food was disgusting. Overcooked steaks , undercooked vine tomatoes. Service was ok but owner kept making excuses for the kitchen. Staff know more than the owner clearly just a cash cow for her. Not to diss the chef who's been thrown in at the deepens without enough experience. shame on the owners . Will not be going there again. View all feedback.
Warmly welcome, very comfortable well furnished rooms, the staff was great, we were late to order food, but the cook agreed, we could eat, scrummy jacket kartoffel with chili a fresh Waldorf salad. excellent worth staying overnight
This was the most welcoming, clean, respectable hotel i have stayed at for many years, staff were exellent, rooms absolutely beautiful, spacious warm modern an so comfortable, great place easy to find, exellent value superb lunch, breakfast, my granchildren were made welcome an looked after so well by all concerned,a huge thanks to you all, ralph jackie dean an laura edwards, we will certainly be returning.....
Friendly, helpful staff. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was amazing, best pub roast dinner Iv ever had. Really can't fault the place in any way. Will def be bringing my family back again soon. Keep up the fab work : x
Hadn't been to the swan for about 10 years, I have now been for a meal here 3 weeks on the trot Cannot praise this place enough, fantastic meal,fantastic service. Will be back very soon.
Came today for dinner, absolutely amazing carvery, intact the best I've ever had, the staff are super friendly. We will definitely come again and again on a regular basis, thank you so much
