What Johnny Chavez doesn't like about Lima Peruvian Rest:
This is a decent place, there are that many Peruvian restaurants around here aside from going to a Peruvian truck which we have not done as of yet.The service is not that good, I had to get up look for the waitress for more sauce and more napkins but the food is pretty good.We will most likely go again but I hope the service is better. We were the only ones there not sure why I had to look for someone. View all feedback.
Wow, this restaurant is incredibly delicious! After passing by it for a while, we finally decided to have lunch there on a Sunday. It wasn't too crowded, there was plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing! They serve bread with dipping sauces that are so tasty. As starters, we had shrimp ceviche and there wasn't a single bite left. The main dishes were very generous and we had enough to take home for another meal. We ordered seafood stir fry and creamy spicy mixed seafood, which were both fantastic. The flavors were rich and lingered in my mouth. We will definitely be going back and bringing some friends along.
This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and our server was incredibly friendly. She ensured that our pollos a la brass arrived just as we finished our ceviche, so it was fresh and hot! The anticuchos were also amazing. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of Peruvian food in the Portland/Beaverton area. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Being Peruvian, I am always on the lookout for good Peruvian cuisine. The service at this restaurant was excellent. We ordered the lomo saltado, tamal, and ceviche. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, which made me wonder if it was freshly prepared. The lomo was tasty, but the fries were too soggy - they should be a bit crispier. The rice was delicious. The tamal was good and something I would definitely order again. However, the ceviche did not meet my expectations. It was overly acidic with too much lemon, and the fish lacked a fresh taste. The cancha was also disappointing as it was soggy instead of crunchy and warm. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant and would definitely return.
I love Peruvian ceviche, and they serve the authentic one, super fresh and tasty. We also had lamb stew and fried seafood, everything was delicious. Service is fast and friendly, very helpful. And the vibe of this place, it's like a family restaurantwith cultural touch like paintings of Peru on the walls, really nice.
Wow! This was my first time coming here and trying Peruvian food! It was amazing! I tried the calamari- best I’ve ever had! The picture shows half a plate- I plowed through it so fast and it tasted so good I forgot to get a pic.Food: 5/5
