I discovered this sandwich haven back in high school, and now, 25 years later, I drive across town probably once a month to pickup food. My wife is from the east coast and is very particular about sandwiches. Geraldi’s is her favorite of any she’s tried in Portland over the past 15 years. This charming little restaurant serves outstanding food. The meatballs are definitely the star of the menu, and the pizza is fantastic. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helping to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels just like home.
I found this sandwich haven back in high school, and now, 25 years later, I still make the drive across town about once a month for a meal. My wife, who is originally from the East Coast, is quite particular when it comes to sandwiches. Nevertheless, Geraldi’s has become her favorite among all the sandwiches she's tried in Portland over the past 15 years.
Wow! From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by delicious aromas. The selection of sandwiches is amazing—there's always something new to try on each visit, and I've never been let down. Be sure to sample the pizza as well! The pasta is another dish you absolutely have to try. You really can't make a bad choice at this place!
This restaurant boasts the best lasagna and meatballs in Oregon. It's a charming, cozy Italian diner with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Expect to spend around $20 per person, but believe me, it's worth every penny. The portions were so generous that I couldn’t even finish my lasagna and meatballs. Each bite was a delightful blend of cheese and sauce. The meatballs were perfectly shaped—not at all mushy—yet tender enough to cut with a fork, and wonderfully moist, not dry at all. The sauce had a delicious savory flavor that paired beautifully with the meatballs, and I couldn't help but feel a little guilty for not having a bigger appetite to finish my meal. The dish also includes four slices of perfectly baked garlic bread. They offer a variety of hot and cold subs, and I’ll share my thoughts on those once I've had a chance to try one. I will definitely be coming back!
This family-run restaurant has been impressing diners with its delectable cuisine for 40 years, and a visit will quickly show you why. With 25 years of experience in the service industry, I can confidently say that this spot is one of the best-kept secrets in the Portland/Beaverton region. Be sure to check out Geraldi's; it's truly outstanding.
