It tasted like a box cake mix was used and the buttercream frosting reminded me of canned frosting. The filling is not memorable enough to write about. The quality was on par with a store bought cake. I'm truly surprised there are so many 5 star reviews.

I sen... read more I was looking for an under the sea/mermaid cake for my daughter's birthday and scoured local bakery websites for something that looked like what I wanted. I sent a few Pinterest sample pictures and Cake It did a great job! Not only was it cute but it tasted good too. I would highly recommend for specialty cakes!
