Contribute Feedback What Mike Smith likes about Batter Up:
This was a fun little place to grab breakfast. I had the chicken and waffles, and the boneless chicken thighs were actually pretty amazing. My daughter had the waffle breakfast sandwich, which was just a fun turn on a traditional item. We also had the waffle pops (cinnamon, vanilla, and sausage) which were a fun novelty flavor experience. The people working the counter were very friendly, and we all shared a passion... What julia d doesn't like about Batter Up:
The bacon sausage was really good. I had it on the MVP waffle sandwich. I felt the waffle was a bit soggy and not as crispy as I would have wanted. The mixing was good. The chicken fried steak was just okay, nothing amazing.Food: 3/5 View all feedback.
An amazing experience. I'd go back here without a question. Eating? Delicious. Drink? Of those I had, good. The water was refreshing and complementary, right next to an entrance. Order/Paying was very fast. Foundation: CLEAN. Atmosphere: COMFY. Booze? Parking? Not bad! And it is also directly on a bus line, so it is easily accessible. We went in a busy hour, not. It may take 15 minutes until food comes to you. I want to try a weekday and see how fast it is.
We love the waffles in this restaurant the best. They are always freshly baked, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We had the seasonal limited edition pumpkin waffle, and the chicken waffle. The chicken is always freshly roasted and tender. I like the best of all chicken waffles I've ever had.
Friendly staff, made it easy and fast. Not too bad prices. I have a Lemon Blueberry waffle for 9 dollars and 75 cents, and a 12 ounce Caramel Macchiato for only 4 dollars. There were definitely places to sit, and none of the tables I saw was very dirty. There are vegetarian options, like the sweeter waffles. Great cheap breakfast place when you are in town, I definitely recommend!
Creative food cartridge quality quisine, Reclaimed area 51 warehouse vibes. Friendly staff serves my two favorite food groups: sugar and caffeine. $2,50 for a cup Joe is not bad in today's world
Batter up on Lombard in Beaverton was the place recommended by a friend and this is our first time eating here. Noon on a Sunday was sort of busy and when ordering we were informed it could be 20 minutes for our food. We were in no hurry so we ordered. I went with the Monte Cristo and seasoned waffle fries and my husband had MVP. Things could have been better, meaning the French toast for the Monte Cristo and the waffle for his sandwich could both have been cooked longer as neither were crispy at all. I would even say mine was a little mushy. But beyond that the inside was good and the fries were crispy. I'd go back again as the staff were friendly and they place was clean and had a Bar which we didn't explore. Everyone deserves a second chance. We'll be back. Go eat Local...
