On Sunday, September 11th at 2 PM, I visited the drive-thru at Burger King. The young woman who seemed to be managing the order window and drinks was handling things poorly. She didn’t label the drinks, and when I asked her to identify which one was Cola and which was Root Beer, she couldn’t tell them apart, forcing us to taste each one and swap them around. Additionally, she forgot to provide us with straws. We were instructed to pull up to a back door where the employees deal with garbage, and we were greeted by a swarm of flies. To make matters worse, the manager left her team midway through our order and drove off. They also mixed up one of my sandwich requests, requiring me to return for a remake. At least everything was fresh and hot when we finally got our order. It seems like they could really benefit from some new management.
Today, they struggled to understand orders and mixed up the drive-thru and walk-in requests. My sandwich wasn't made correctly, and the toppings were slimy and unappetizing. It's astonishing that they earn over $5 an hour considering the minimal effort they put into their work.
Burger King was very disappointing. The fries were cold, and my Whopper with cheese and light mayo arrived soggy and cold. I also ordered another Whopper without cheese, but it came with cheese and was dry and cold. After 35 years, I’ve learned my lesson—it's time to find a new spot. I won’t be coming back. Yuck.
This was my experience at Burger King in Beaver, Utah: I would give zero stars for the service and two stars for the food because I do enjoy Burger King's Croissan'wich meals. On Sunday, September 25, 2022, at 10:00 am, the young woman at the drive-thru window behaved like a reluctant teenager forced to go to school. All I asked for was a cup of coffee, but she responded as if she was about to throw a tantrum. Her attitude was rude and unpleasant. Unfortunately, this Burger King employee was clearly having a bad day. Despite this, I still appreciate the variety on the Burger King menu.
Keep driving. We waited 30 minutes from standing in line to receiving our food, and we were the only customers inside. The employees wandered around without any urgency to fulfill our order or anyone else's. Additionally, several staff members with long hair were not wearing hair nets or hats.
