I had a pleasant experience at The Creamery. The interior was clean, and they offered a wide selection of artisanal foods, though I found them a bit pricey. The kid’s center was very educational—I learned a lot about dairy and cheese production. There were also fun, interactive activities for children. For lunch, we ordered a grilled cheese and mac and cheese. The grilled cheese wasn’t my favorite; the cheese wasn’t fully melted, which I think is essential for a good grilled cheese. I also felt it could have used a slice of tomato to add more flavor. The mac and cheese was somewhat bland but came in a generous portion. The kitchen seemed a bit overwhelmed, resulting in a wait to place our order and receive our food. The ice cream was tasty, although it was disappointing that they don’t offer samples, as that helps when choosing a flavor. I chose the lemon bar, which was good, though the color appeared unnaturally bright yellow. I wished it had been more tart and less sweet. The ice cream serving was quite generous.

Took my mom to The Creamery for lunch and we ordered the Avocado, Bacon, and Cheddar Grilled Cheese sandwiches with fries. The portions were generous, the flavors delicious, and we left completely satisfied and full!

During my trip to Salt Lake City along the freeway, I stumbled upon a standout building that was definitely worth a stop! They serve a variety of food, snacks, homemade ice cream, and even have clean restrooms! I was particularly impressed by their selection of cheeses and jams in different flavors. The ice cream is delightful, boasting a rich buttery taste. While the overall food quality is quite good, I found the flatbreads to be a bit disappointing, as they didn’t taste very fresh. There isn’t a direct freeway exit to this location, so you’ll need to navigate through the town to get there. The place has an intriguing history, and there’s plenty of parking available.

There are so many wonderful dishes to try here, and we haven't even started to explore all the different cheeses. The bacon mac and cheese is really tasty; I personally like it a bit saltier, but it still has a fantastic flavor. Their BBQ chicken pizza is also delicious, featuring a generous amount of barbecue sauce. The braised short rib grilled cheese is packed with flavor, and the meat is incredibly tender. It even comes with a side of au jus for dipping. The fries are best enjoyed fresh and hot from the fryer. The homemade ranch dressing is creamy with a sauce-like consistency, which I prefer over a thicker ranch.

I was quite disappointed with my experience. The prices were high, and despite spending a lot on lunch for our family of five, we left feeling unimpressed. The nachos were made with stale chips, and only about 20% of the shredded cheese was melted. They came with a dry salsa and dry pork on top—definitely not worth the $15! The cheeseburger flatbread was just piled high with shredded cheese on flatbread, with around 40% melted, and was served with an unappetizing fry sauce and overcooked frozen hamburger patties. The bacon mac and cheese was decent, but that was the only highlight of the meal.
