Was kimberlandia at Bear Creek a mag?
I had a fantastic experience at the Cabins at Beaver Creek. The cabin was beautifully appointed and had all the amenities we needed. The surroundings are stunning, situated right next to a lovely river. Michelle made our stay even more special by providing a campfire and s'mores. She's incredibly friendly and offered excellent tips on what to explore in the park. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Olympic N... View all feedback.

Situated in Sappho, just off Highway 101, their expansive property—spanning approximately 40 acres, if I recall correctly—is home to two horses, two cows, one calf, and two goats, in addition to the welcoming hosts. As you drive in, a sense of calm washes over you as you navigate through the trees and park in front of your cabin, which awaits your arrival. We stayed in cabin #2, featuring a queen bed and a loft with two additional queen beds—accessible via a staircase that might pose a challenge for those with mobility issues. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen and bathroom, and I could go on about how well-stocked it is, but it far exceeded my expectations of what a cabin should be. Located along the Sol Duc River, it's a tranquil spot to relax with a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) without needing to venture anywhere else. You can take a short stroll down to the river across a moss-covered bridge, where you can enjoy the soothing sounds of nature and the birds chirping in the peaceful ambiance. It's an ideal base for exploring various attractions such as the Hoh Rain Forest, Sol Duc National Park, Neah Bay, Port Angeles, local beaches, and many more locations. In the evenings, there’s a bonfire where guests can roast marshmallows (we opted out of this). Among the many amenities, the greatest highlight is undoubtedly John and Michelle. They are a trove of knowledge, extremely friendly (albeit quite busy), and genuinely attentive to your needs. If you find yourself on the Olympic Peninsula, this is the place to stay. And if you do visit, be sure to say hello to Lentil, the black-and-white goat. Happy travels!

Our cabin was clean, well-designed, and very comfortable. The owners were incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed, including a lovely campfire for making s'mores, which they provided. The highlight was definitely the serene, picturesque rural setting along the Sol Duc River.

And that’s just what’s inside the cabin! The outdoor ambiance is wonderful, with the sounds of birds, access to private spots along the river, a charming old bridge, and the opportunity to feed maple leaves to the goats and cows (with the owner’s permission, of course). We even enjoyed walks to the river with Bailey, the friendly dog. S’mores by the fire were the perfect ending to our days, and John and Michelle provided excellent local information and recommendations. They are truly exceptional hosts, making us feel welcomed and well cared for. Their expertise in hospitality is evident, and the setup of their cabins is perfect. The nearest town, Forks, is just a 15-minute drive away and has a Thriftway for groceries. The location is excellent for half-day trips to Rialto Beach, Kalaloch, Hoh Rainforest, Sol Duc, and Lake Crescent. You could easily stay at the cabins and experience most of the major attractions of Olympic National Park. If I had to do it again, I would have spent my entire trip here. The ambiance, hospitality, and accommodations were far superior, all at a lower price than the other places I stayed during the rest of my trip.

I've been fishing on the Olympic Peninsula since 1993 and have tried almost every place to stay. The Cabins at Beaver Creek are my top choice. If you're not specifically looking for a lodge with a restaurant (which are few and far between on the Olympic Peninsula), these cabins are by far the best accommodations available. The property is beautiful, the cabins are clean and comfortable, and the owners are fantastic! I highly recommend them!
