As someone who hates thai food, this place is amazing. Whether you’re dining in or catering, this is my favorite thai place. As a college student too, this is a nice and affordable hole in the wall. There isn’t much seating, but this place is definitely home-y. View all feedback.
What Carl Vero doesn't like about Crazy Thai:
I wasn’t impressed. The pad Thai wasn’t what I had hoped it to be. It was almost like they gave me something else similar, but not as good. Very bland, hardly any peanut flavor. The Tom Kha soup was okay, but again it was bland and seemed thrown together. The sampler platter appetizer was okay, but the chicken was over cooked and dried out. The Thai iced tea was pretty good. My wife has General Tsao’s chicken. It was... View all feedback.
The food here is excellent, and the accommodations are good. Among the hidden gems in the Falls, I wholeheartedly recommend this one as the best. I can never leave without ordering a large portion of their Wonton soup!
When I visit my daughter in Greentree, we usually go to Papaya, where I love to order the Mango Chicken Curry at a spice level 8. This time, at Song Thai, I opted for the Pineapple Chicken Curry. Unsure of their spice levels, I went with a 7. The waitress seemed a bit puzzled, probably because most locals prefer milder spice. Fortunately, the 7 was the perfect level for me to savor the flavors, especially since it was my first visit. It was absolutely delicious, flavor-packed, and the portions were generous. I also tried the Thai Iced Tea, which was perfectly balanced and even stronger than what I get at Papaya! I was pretty hungry, so I made sure to finish my curry; leftovers never taste as good, and I really wanted to enjoy every bite. Unfortunately, I didn’t have room for dessert this time, but I’d love to come back and try the Pumpkin Curry in the future. It’s such a gem to have nearby! Now we need a place like this in New Castle!
During my recent visit, everything I tried was outstanding! The customer service was great too! I will definitely be returning!
I wasn't impressed with my visit. The pad Thai didn't meet my expectations; it felt like a different dish entirely—similar but not as enjoyable. It lacked flavor and didn't have much peanut taste at all. The Tom Kha soup was just okay, but it was also bland and seemed hastily made. The sampler platter appetizer was decent, but the chicken was overcooked and dry. The Thai iced tea was quite good, though. My wife ordered General Tso's chicken, which was decent but nothing special. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning.
Amazing food every time. Friendly staff, and the Green Curry is my all time favorite. So good!!!!! Now I’m hungry.
