Contribute FeedbackKFC's Chippewa location has garnered a reputation marked by both glaring disappointments and uplifting moments. While some patrons lament inadequate service, incorrect orders, and unprofessional staff behavior, others highlight enjoyable meals and friendly service. The experience can range from greasy, subpar food and chaotic drive-thru encounters to encounters with personable employees who elevate the dining atmosphere. Pricing is deemed reasonable by some, but others are frustrated by long wait times and unreliable hours. Overall, KFC Chippewa appears to be in need of improved consistency to satisfy its varied clientele effectively.
I don't even know where to start with this review. It was the worst experience ever! The woman at the register was extremely unprofessional, rushing us to place our order. There were wet floors with no warning sign in sight until after we were told about it. Then, the woman at the front register told another employee that she hoped no one would make a mess in the dining room because she wasn't going to clean up after anyone. The chicken was extremely greasy, the mashed potatoes seemed like they had been sitting for hours, and the fries were as hard as rocks. Additionally, employees were seen eating food off the production line without gloves, which is very unsanitary. This was by far the worst experience I've had at this KFC. You would think they would be running things better, especially since they recently opened their dining room, but they are not.
I ordered a meal online and arrived at a closed restaurant with a long drive-thru line extending into the parking lot. After calling, I was informed that I had to use the drive-thru only. There was no signage indicating this policy, and I waited for 15 minutes in the parking lot trying to figure out how to get a refund. It is concerning for those who do not drive or have disabilities that make using the drive-thru a challenge. If staffing is the issue preventing customers from entering the store, the restaurant should consider offering better wages to attract talented employees.
I would give the Chippewa location zero stars if I could. Since KFC and Taco Bell split in Chippewa, KFC's customer service has been terrible. They have limited hours, closing as early as 6:00 on a Saturday, and sometimes not even opening until 1:00. I placed a DoorDash order at 5:15 on a Saturday, only to be told at 5:45 that my $70 order was canceled because they were closed. This is not good business practice. Despite closing at 6:00, they should have still fulfilled my order. As a result, I ended up going to Arby's for my meal. In the future, Arby's will be getting my business instead of KFC. Thank you for nothing.
The wait time is outrageous and they still messed up my order... Twice! Not to mention they were out of original recipe chicken. If you're in this area, I would recommend going anywhere else!
On my most recent visit the quality, quantity price all proved to be worse than one year ago. Not in a good way. Almost $35 for 8 piece bucket provided 2 breasts, 2 half thighs 2 wings legs from perhaps a pigeon? Sides weren't enough to feed 2people. Looks like we're paying more for way less. Looking for a new chicken place. This KFC is going under soon.
