The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The building may be old and outdated, but that seems to be common in this city. The restaurant has space for bobtail trucks and offers parking if needed, making it a safe and secure area. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was between $10-20. We highly recommend trying the Pork Tamale.
The food and service at this restaurant are fantastic.
Outside of the tomatillo salsa I would rate this place a complete 0 for flavor when it comes to food. It wasn't bad it wasn't great, it was just bland. Mexican food is not supposed to be bland. It's supposed to be spicy, bold, flavorful, but not bland. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Also watch out if you ask for the spicy salsa with your chips they charged me $3 for 1 oz of salsa even though they give it to you for free with the tacos. Go figure??
