The service is in small care, the... read more We had dinner at Benaton late November 2023. This restaurant is located near the centre of Beaune and closes the Fallot duck. The service is in small care, the staff is smiling and attentive. We enjoyed the advice of the oenologist on the wine map (natural wine at ideal temperature, i.e. close to 10° for Burgundy red, carafé with care). The kitchen was delicious while being light. The star is widely deserved. The only noticeable negative point on the interior room is noise, a small acoustic layout would be ideal. We'll be back.

T... read more Beaune has exceptional restaurants and La Benaton is one that sits comfortably in that category. The food is absolutely delicious and is Michelin Star worthy. The service is excellent but you do need to keep an eye on over zealous wine pouring waiters, who top you up constantly, which can leave you with the impression that you are being rushed through a bottle of wine. The restaurant is quiet and had an air of exclusivity, lacking a warmth and vibrancy which may dissuade young foodies from visiting, which would be a great shame as the food is absolutely superb. Dog friendly and well worth a visit!
