My visit this year... read more I have been dining at L 'Ecrit 'Vin and at its predecessor incarnations in Place Carnot for about 25 years and have never been disappointed. My visit this year was no exception fabulous, traditional French food accompanied by a brilliant selection of burgundies by the glass and wonderful service. If you are looking for a 'classic ' French restaurant, you need look no further. Highly recommended.

The terrace is very pleasant despite the fact that it is just along the road where some carq spend the evening which may disturb some people. Negative: the price of à la carte dishes is really high

Be careful to book but I assure you, you will not be disappointed. Quite strange to have the picture of Victor Horta on a French menu but a beautiful tribute paid for this Belgian architect of new art. The menu is elegant and the dishes are tasty. Don’t hesitate to go.

Everything was fine, except I forgot an object on the table and this one was thrown! Choice of dishes, wines, desserts, it was very good.
