I don't know why we waited so long to finally try J Lee Coney Island but boy it was so worth going. Menu was on the wall. Large print so easy to read. It had so many choices. I went with the beef patty melt and the fresh buttery grill rye bread was the bomb. I will be back for another one and they give enough hot crispy fries to share with another person. This place is a hit or miss sometimes the food taste really good other days it’s mediocre I guess it depends on who’s cooking or something but sadly today it is not very great The fries taste stale and kind of burnt or like they have been in the oil to long over cooked. Not bad at all. Will definitely be going back to try out more of the menu. Great staff by the way! Very respectful. Service was quick and food tasted fresh.
Delicious chili cheese dogs and fries, obviously prepared with love. Attentive and very friendly staff. Definitely give this place a try.

We are from Detroit, so we had high expectations for J Lee's coming to Beaufort, as there are no Coney Islands here. They nailed it! Best Chicken Shawarma, Coney Dog and Fries ever! Can't wait to go back!
