Played the course on November 5, 2023 as a guest of a member. My expectations were low given how long the course had been closed, but I was pleasantly surprised. The greens were great. The fairways were a little shaggy but in very good condition. I’ll definitely go back ! View all feedback.
What Matt Thompson doesn't like about Cat Island Pub And Grill:
This pool is always closing down due to problems. Last year (2020) they closed in September due to their pump being broken. They didn’t open in 2021 until June due to the pump still not working, and we come to the pool Labor Day weekend to find the pool was closed on order of DHEC. No notification about the closing, and no idea of when/if it will reopen. This is not acceptable for how much you pay for the pool. Go so... View all feedback.
A friend who lives on Cat Island invited me to visit the new restaurant that was just opened by the pool. He mentioned that Cat Island has new owners and makes them a difference. The pool area is stunning, you now have a driving range and the golf course will be back soon. The tavern had a nice menu with salads, sandwiches, baskets and even a children's menu. I had the Angus Burger and my friend Cranberry Almond Chicken Salad Wrap. They looked great and even tasted better. Top Notch! I told him that this is a real nice supplement for people living on Cat Island and he told me that it is all open to the public and that the clubhouse will soon have a new restaurant. The cat's back and I'll be soon.
Friendly staff, beautiful location, wonderful golf course! Clubhaus Restaurant is currently under renovation. Legendary George W. Cobb designed golf course currently under renovation. Golf course to return to the joy of Beaufort and the surrounding communities.
I have never been to South Carolina and was invited to Cat Island Golf, Pool Grill, spoke to the owner Cory, he took me around the golf car, showed me the improvements he has already done and talked about the improvements he will do. He has a great vision for the club, one of the things he is very excited is with a top-notch wedding venue, and I think he will reach it. Cat Island Golf Pool Grill is a diamond in the rough that just shine through. Good luck Cory and company, focus on your vision, there is no question that you fulfill your dream.
This is the best pool complex in Beaufort County, by far. The Driving Range is really fantastic and I can't wait until it opens here soon. The golf course seems to get much needed attention here lately by washing out the bunkers and now the overgrown along the fairways is cut back and I think the course should be open at the end of October. Seems like Cat Island Golf Pool and Grill comes back to life. GREAT Job Cory!
The pool is amazing, it has a great family environment and now with the poolside restaurant open (with delicious food) it makes the experience even better. It has great staff very friendly and caring. Excited for driving range.
