we stopped to eat on our way to the Brittany. we tried tommy's dinner because we like the atmosphere restaurants of the 1950s. Besides the breathtaking decoration, we were very well welcomed with our 3 children. the waitress, cindy was very kind and friendly (we regret that we didn't have any liquid to leave her a tip), she brought coloring for the children. the child menu was enough for our 2 daughters (the third is... What Anita Pawlak doesn't like about Tommy's Diner Angers:
Previously we had been to Tommy's diner 4 times because the food was excellent and the service attentive. In early 2014 we went and the overall experience was just off putting. Arrived early , it took us several minutes longer to get seated despite no...one being there, drinks appeared as and when, the food was delivered piece meal and was not very good quality. Just not a good time View all feedback.
We were allowed to try by this restaurant that we did not know. We were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed and the waitress quickly took the order. cool, because with 2 children in the early age!!! waiting for the dishes was correct. children were drawing while we read the very informative table undersides.( Ingenious idea) Children's menus arrived in cars, we boys loved. the dishes are very good, the correct portions and the taste is there. we had taken a black angus hamburger and a tartare . the desserts are copied as well and delicious . when at the final note, 60 euros to 4 with aperos, we found the prices very correct. Now we will go every time we go to the atoll ( 3 or 4 / year ) . thanks to cindy for its kindness and availability .
Correct prices, charming staff, and a pleasant setting. Copyy, well prepared. a little too drunk, and sometimes too industrial ingredients. desserts are good though too sweet. a real American atmosphere. Fries are medium. Good restaurant!

Besides the breathtaking decoration, we were very well welcomed with our 3 children. the waitress, cindy was very kind and friendly (we regret that we didn't have any liquid to leave her a tip), she brought coloring for the children. the child menu was enough for our 2 daughters (the third is still in the small pots) and my husband found his happiness with the vegetarian burger. For my part, I had difficulty choosing and finally opted for the "the chief" that I found very good with his mellow burger bread and trimming. we will return with pleasure
I was looking forward to discovering this restaurant on the theme of the 50s. the decor is beautiful and plunges us directly into the atmosphere. for the dishes on the other hand. the smoked salmon of the caesar salad was all dry and there wasn't much. the same for the rest of the trim. Anyway, a little disappointed. In terms of service, we waited for a long time while we were only 2, and the waitresses have repeatedly misled the table by bringing us dishes that we had not ordered. Once it goes, after three times it gets embarrassing. Maybe an organization to review? But I don't want to stay on a negative opinion, so I still think I'm going back to this restaurant to hear the experience.
We stopped there while we were on our way for a long journey with our children, despite my stress not to succeed in dinner in an hour in order not to waste time, the team did everything to bring us a fast and efficient service. Our waitress has even proposed to simplify our departure to put the ice of our daughter in a pot so that we can take it with us. we have had a slight issue of expiry date on our coca, (which can happen) the manager has come to apologise as well as the waitress, and to our great surprise has offered us dinner.to be deemed to be of a great requirement, because I work in luxury
