Vfw - Beatty
Vfw
Description
An unpretentious Beatty bar-and-grill known for friendly service, generous pizza and classic sandwiches, and a veteran-focused, memorabilia-lined atmosphere. Locals and visitors praise the warm hospitality and cold drinks, though experiences vary: the kitchen can be inconsistent and food quality uneven at times, and the space is smoky and casual. Best for lunch or relaxed evenings when the kitchen is open — come for the community spirit and hearty bar fare.

If you want the feel of a local restaurant and bar, this is the place to go in Beatty. Two of the three meals ordered were good and the service was friendly. Lots of historical military related memorabilia adorn the walls. (My breaded chicken was the weak spot).
I recently visited this city and made sure to check out VFW. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent for the price. The chef even came out to inquire if my girlfriend was vegetarian (which she is) and tailored her meal accordingly. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in Beatty and looking for a special dining experience. The drinks were great as well, and they had a fun seasonal cocktail menu.
My first visit to a VFW was a fantastic experience. As a foreigner and a veteran from a different background, I was warmly welcomed by kind strangers and left with newfound friends. Thank you; it was truly a privilege to be there.
We heard this was the place for dinner in Beatty so we went there expecting something great. Its a bar with sandwiches and burgers. Were thinking dinner, they were thinking lunch. Its a bit smoky with the locals being the standard customers. Staff was friendly and the food good. Try it for lunch.
