Lots of historical military related memorabilia adorn the walls. (My breaded chicken was the weak spot).

The chef even came out... read more I recently visited this city and made sure to check out VFW. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent for the price. The chef even came out to inquire if my girlfriend was vegetarian (which she is) and tailored her meal accordingly. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in Beatty and looking for a special dining experience. The drinks were great as well, and they had a fun seasonal cocktail menu.

Were thinking dinner, they were thinking lunch. Its a bit smoky with the locals being the standard customers. Staff was friendly and the food good. Try it for lunch.
