I don't understand why no one wrote comments about Mel's Diner! We ate there twice and found our meals well cooked, delicious, attractive and cheap. The diner was sweetly decorated and very clean. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. There is no smoking and masks are required, which after several other restaurants in the area was a comfort. View all feedback.
What Youri Veldman doesn't like about Mel's Diner:
Service and food was perfect. The girl serving us was nice. It went wrong when we went to pay. We needed to pay at the bar and payed with a guy. The check was like 24 and we gave 29. I think that wasn’t good for him because he threw the change to us and starting shout. We got away quickly because we got the felling he could get fysical any minute View all feedback.
Great food. My wife and I eat at Mel's and it's good food, great service and great prices. They're full of a belly. We live in Beatty and this is the place we choose to go! NOTE: This is no more Mexican restaurant. It is not valid under new management and these older contributions on Mexican food.
I enjoyed this picturesque little diner. The service was great. The food was fantastic. And who does not love the nostalgia of a beloved sitcom!!
Very nice place. We had a typical American breakfast (egg, bacon, pancakes... and everything was delicious. Very generous size (pancakes are so juicy and fluffy and price is worth it. Thanks again!
The food was fast, cheap and tasty. Portion sizes were great for the price. The service was fantastic. The woman who helped us was sweet, smiling and so helpful. We love her! Decor was suitable. Would definitely come back when in the area. And we were welcomed by some donkeys:
Great diner style breakfast. Bacon, eggs toast, pancakes. All the usuals. Pricing was very reasonable ~8$ for bacon eggs hash browns and toast . Waitress was super nice and accommodating I had to go take a phone call, so she took my food back to the heater and made me fresh toast Would definitely return , however keep in mind they are closed a few days a week. Also, the place is cash only , but worth it for an affordable breakfast in Beatty.
