However, the Hotel Beausite still remains and its small and cosy restaurant offers afternoon snacks with a nice view on the lake of Thun and the Niesen mountain. I only had a drink there today and some bread, but the couple next to me ordered a homemade apple pie with whipped cream which they devoured with good appetite, and another pair across from us shared two small cheese pies and some salad, both of which looked quite mouthwatering and were gone in no time.Service was friendly and efficient and the facilities agreeable and clean.
