The children had an amazing time, and t... read more I had a wonderful experience with my family! The water park was fantastic and very kid-friendly, with great furnishings. The children had an amazing time, and the adults enjoyed themselves as well. The rooms were comfortable, and the beds were cozy. The lounge on the second floor was impressive, featuring taxidermy animals and providing a nice, relaxed atmosphere. The lobby on the ground floor was also great. We found the prices for concessions and the arcade to be quite reasonable, and the complimentary breakfast buffet was quite good. The atmosphere was fun, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a mix-up with our rooms and were assigned non-adjacent spaces, especially considering the price, but that's just how it goes sometimes. Regardless, I would definitely return. My wife, two children, and I had a blast together!

Un... read more The rooms were lovely, and they allowed us to check in two hours early. The next morning, I overslept and went down to see if I still had time for breakfast. Unfortunately, a staff member was clearing everything away because breakfast was over. However, she kindly managed to gather whatever she could for us, all with a smile and attentive service. The staff was very nice overall, but this particular lady truly stood out. It's a shame I didn’t catch her name.

She immediately walked back the advertised pay and said because of previous employees that, for this management position, the pay would start at $16/hr. When I said that wouldn’t work, her demeanor flipped like a light switch and she instantly became very rude and sarcastic. Definitely gave me a glimpse into what it would be like working for her. No wonder why it’s hard for them to keep people around. Entry level McDonald’s in this town pays $16/hr. To hire managers at this rate is absurd and insulting.

I would have rated the room 5 stars if there had been a TV guide, as I dislike channel surfing. Overall, I would rate the rooms 4 stars, the service 5 stars, and the location 5 stars. Hotel highlights include its romantic ambiance, quiet atmosphere, and excellent value.
