The interio... read more I'm a regular at the Last Hall restaurant in Baveno. The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Dino and offers a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore. The interior is elegant and original, while the outdoor terrace overlooks the lake, creating a truly enchanting atmosphere. The menu is excellent, with high-quality dishes. The wait staff is also friendly, attentive, and always available. I also had the pleasure of meeting chef Andrea, who delighted us with truly incredible dishes. I will definitely return.

It is a small menu, but absolute care is taken when preparing the food. The egg truffle reminded me of warming up to a delicious bowl of mushroom soup on a cold day. The pumpkin risotto had the perfect balance of sweet and savoury. And both the veal and venison were fall off the bone perfection. This has been one of the few restaurants in Italy that cooked the meat correctly. Was not chewing or gamey. so all you had to think about was how pleasant the experience was. Not how you’re able to cut through this rough meat. I left this meal feeling full and the menu is well priced. The wait staff was proactive in asking for allergy restrictions.

At first glance the dishes look refined but results are subpar. Service is pleasant, but not always attentive especially if the room is full. Most dishes cost twenty euros and the portions are almost astonishingly small.

My daughter and I didn’t have high expectations but were rather prioritizing the convenience! We were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted and had immediate service. It was quiet as it was early by European dining standards at 7pm but over the course of our dinner filled in. We had an attentive and yummy experience. We ended the evening with their delicious tiramisu…we would return our final evening to have this dessert again!
