We stayed in Baveno as we have done before and we have ended up having dinner at Last Hall 6 nights out of the 14 we have had here! The service is impeccable. Special mention to Giovanni for his great knowledge on wine and attentive, cheerful service and his colleague an Argentinean waitress who was also lovely. The wines were amazing and such a huge list. I loved the fact it was laid out by region and such an extensive list of Piedmont wines. The food was exquisite. Every time we went despite the menu being the same for the duration of our we stay we tried something different each night and were not disappointed. We both had the best steak we have ever had in our lives so of course had that twice just to double check ; the atmosphere is wonderful and the decor fantastic. We are very sad to leaving as dinner there has been an all round absolutely amazing experience and we can't reccommend it highly enough. You won't be dissapointed.

The food was quite okay, but the menu looked more promising. The menu looked quite fancy, but execution did not deliver on the high expectations. Staff was okay as well, nothing special.

Tables f... read more Went there while staying in the Grand Dino Hotel. The food was the worst that I have ever been presented with in any restaurant I can recall. Inedible. Tables far too close together despite there being plenty of room. Poor service on top. My advice would be to avoid as there are plenty of good places to eat in the town.

My daughter and I didn’t have high expectations but were rather prior... read more Had dinner our first evening in Baveno…we were staying at the Hotel Dino for a conference. My daughter and I didn’t have high expectations but were rather prioritizing the convenience! We were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted and had immediate service. It was quiet as it was early by European dining standards at 7pm but over the course of our dinner filled in. We had an attentive and yummy experience. We ended the evening with their delicious tiramisu…we would return our final evening to have this dessert again!
