Was Cedar M at Super 8 a mag?
We received excellent service during our stay, and the manager truly went above and beyond for my husband and me. We arrived quite early and were very tired from our drive, and although the only available rooms were suites, she ensured we got one. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in! Whenever we needed anything, the staff was more than willing to assist. The continental breakfast was delicious, but it does end... View all feedback.
What Corey N dislikes about Super 8:
The room has a strong odor of cat urine, and there are stains on nearly all surfaces. There are clumps of hair on the floor and the carpet feels damp. The pillows smell of cigarettes. Additionally, the back door doesn't close properly or lock securely. View all feedback.
The continental breakfast was straightforward, featuring biscuits and gravy, three types of cereal, bread options like toast and bagels with jam or cream cheese, and microwavable sandwiches. Instant Quaker oatmeal was also available, along with hot coffee served all day. The coffee machine even offered hot water, with a nice selection of teas. Unique to this place, breakfast starts as early as 4 am! Unfortunately, the gym and pool were closed throughout my stay, and the gym appeared to be in disrepair. However, there's a community recreational center nearby with daily rates under $15. The washer and dryer worked effectively, but I recommend bringing your own detergent—coins are available at the front desk. As for the rooms, be aware that there are no elevators, only stairs, which can be a hassle if you have a lot of luggage. I hope they consider upgrading to hardwood floors in the hallways and rooms, as the carpets are not very pleasant and attract a lot of mud due to construction work nearby. I stayed in a King Suite, which was clean, comfortable, and spacious, featuring a mini fridge, microwave, and counter space with a small sink near the bathroom sink. My only issue was the noise from being above the lobby—it could get loud with the TV on or conversations happening in the early morning. The Double Queen Kitchenette was also clean and roomy, though the carpets were quite unattractive and the rooms were dim, even with the lamps on. The kitchen area itself was well-lit and equipped with a stovetop, microwave, and fully functional plugs. Some utensils were provided, but the pots and pans could definitely use an upgrade. They seemed worn, missing handles and lids, but they still served their purpose. Interestingly, there was a slow cooker available, which was a nice surprise, along with some random kitchenware left behind in the cupboards. Don’t forget to pick up dish soap from one of the two grocery stores nearby! Overall, I have little to complain about for a place to stay, especially with free coffee available all day and the added treat of fresh-baked cookies every day!

Aside from that, everything about the place is fantastic!
The location was very convenient to access from the freeway, and it was fairly quiet despite the traffic noise. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the cookies were delicious. Paulie at the front desk provided excellent service. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and there was plenty of hot water. This place is great for anyone traveling cross-country.

On September 11, 2022, at 8:30 PM, Chris was incredible in assisting me with my booking. He was kind, professional, and helped me resolve my issue. This is my favorite Super 8 to stay at when I’m driving across states to visit family. The breakfast is always fantastic, the pool is great, and the service is exceptional.
