Elmer's Authentic Texas Bbq

The dining experience is outstanding, featuring traditional Texas-style barbecue that emphasizes brisket, as well as some of the best cut-to-order steaks I've ever tasted.

This was possibly the worst dining experience we've ever encountered. It was our first visit, and while we appreciated the decor, that was about the only positive. The Au Gratin dishes were stale and dry, the hush puppies were greasy, and the ribs were dry and flavorless. We were incredibly disappointed, especially after driving an hour to get there. The service was slow, even though we were the only customers at the time. We had heard great things and had high expectations, but sadly, it did not live up to them.

The beef basket, pulled pork, and other meats are slow-cooked to perfection in a smoker, and they have a great selection of sides to complement every dish. They also serve excellent steaks, chicken, and seafood, but be sure not to miss the brisket and ribs—they're the highlight of the menu!
